Although we are a privately-owned separate business, we strongly support all Coal Creek Mining & Manufacturing Company (CCMMC) rules and regulations. Therefore, Windrock Campground staff WILL STRICTLY ENFORCE THE 15 MPH ATV SPEED LIMIT for area roads (both public and private) that lead to the trailhead. Violators of CCMMC's well-established "15 MPH on-the-road" rule may lose the privilege to ride the roads (in other words, we can require that you use a trailer to get your ATV in/out of the campground). Repeat or Reckless violators are in jeopardy of completely losing their CCMMC riding permit and therefore all access to the trail system. In these extreme cases, we will cooperate with the company's action by also restricting your access to our private property (the campground). Campground speed limit is ALWAYS 5 MPH - NO EXCEPTIONS.
