From Oak Ridge, take Hwy 62 (West) to the DOWNTOWN exit for Oliver Springs. At the four-way stop with a flashing light, take a right onto Hwy 330 North, (also called Spring Street). Go approximately 1.5 miles and take a left on Frost Bottom Road (still Hwy 330). Go 1 mile and take a left onto Hoskins Gap Road (the first road on the left). Cross the bridge, bear left, and travel around the road 1 mile to the campground. OR
From the Coal Creek trailhead parking area at
Windrock Mountain,
follow Hoskins Gap Road south
(road in front of the church) for two miles to the campground.

MORE DETAILED DIRECTIONS Windrock Campground is three miles north west of Oliver Springs, Tennessee, about 25 miles northwest of Knoxville. Below are directions to the campground. IMPORTANT:
First follow the directions to the town of Oak Ridge, then follow from Oak
Ridge to Windrock Campground

1) First, follow the Interstate directions below - depending on where you are traveling from (north, south, east, or west) 2) Then, follow Oak Ridge to WRC From the east or south:
Traveling I-40 west from Johnson City or
I-75 north from Chattanooga:
Take exit 376A (Hwy 162N) to Oak Ridge. Hwy 162 is a 4-lane divided highway. In Solway, just before entering Oak Ridge, Hwy 162 will merge with Hwy 62. Follow Hwy 62 west through Oak Ridge (here Hwy 62 is also called Illinois Ave) which will intersect with Hwy 95. (approx N 35* 59' 42.4", W 084* 17' 19.7").
Traveling I-75 south from Lexington: Take Clinton / Oak Ridge Exit 122 and turn right (west) on Hwy 61 to Clinton (approx N 36* 09' 57.7", W 084* 05' 01.7"). Go through Clinton into Oak Ridge. Stay straight (west) on Hwy 95 into town. Going through the City of Oak Ridge, look for the intersection of Hwy 62 and Hwy 95, just past the Cancun Mexican Restaurant, 15.8 miles from I-75. Turn right on Hwy 62W towards Oliver Springs (approx N35* 59' 42.4", W 084* 17' 19.7").
From the west:
Traveling I-40 east coming from
Nashville:
Take Gallaher Road / Oak Ridge Exit 356. Turn left on Hwy 58 towards Oak Ridge (approx N 35* 52' 13.4", W 084* 26' 43.4"). Follow Hwy 58 to Hwy 95N into Oak Ridge. Continue on Hwy 95 to Hwy 62 (14.4 miles from I-40). Turn left (west) onto Hwy 62 (approx N 35* 59' 42.4", W 084* 17' 19.7")
