where 4-wheeling is our back yard............

Directions from Oak Ridge to Windrock Campground
 865-435-3939

From Oak Ridge head west on State Hwy 62 towards Oliver Springs.  Stay on Hwy 62W into Oliver Springs until you see a Hardee's Restaurant on your right. On the left is the "Exxon Fun Food" store where you can buy Windrock ATV permits and maps for the trail system.  On the right past Hardee's is a Food City Grocery Store,  This is your last chance for supplies, food, or gas before heading to the trails.

Go on through the traffic light at Food City (4.4 miles from Oak Ridge) then take the exit ramp into “DOWNTOWN” Oliver Springs (approx N 36* 02' 26.9", W 084* 2'0 10.0").

At the 4-way flashing-light, see the sign for State Hwy 330 North and turn right (approx N 36* 02' 42.3", W 084* 20' 11.1").  Follow Highway 330 North about one mile from the flashing-light in Oliver Springs. Turn left with Hwy. 330 just after crossing the bridge (approx N 36* 02' 50.6", W 084* 18' 48.0"). Here Hwy 330 North is also called Frost Bottom Road.

Follow Hwy. 330 North about one mile to Hoskins Gap Road (first road on the left).  Cross the concrete bridge (approx N 36* 03' 33.0" W 084* 18' 15.9") and bear left to the paved road.

****"Right about here, stop, look around, and say: "Where the heck are we?"****

Continue around the road about one-half mile, but go slow and careful crossing the narrow bridge. It is 10 feet 8 inches wide and will accommodate large vehicles, just watch your mirror clearance. Travel on another half-mile to the campground entrance, look for the flags and blue sign on the right. (approx N 36* 03' 44.5", W 084* 18' 56.6").
